Two big updates have arrived for Valkyria Chronicles 4. Sega has announced that the demo is now available in the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One owners. In addition, digital pre-orders have gone live and give people who commit to a copy some free DLC.
First, let’s go over the Valkyria Chronicles 4 demo. This lets people play through the game’s prologue and first two chapters. There is also a bonus mission, which is designed to show off the Grenadier class in action. Save data carries over, allowing you to keep money, items acquired, and your class levels. Also, importing a demo save to the full game will get you an exclusive accessory.
The digital pre-order bonus for all Valkyria Chronicles 4 platforms is A Captainless Squad. This is an add-on that will be immediately available to people who commit to an early copy and will send Squad E soldiers off to find a missing Ragnarok. Ragnarok being the adorable dog mascot, of course. After launch, this add-on will be released in late October 2018 for $4.99.
PlayStation Store digital pre-orders include two extra bonuses. People who go for a PlayStation 4 copy will get a theme and set of avatars. The icon samples released by Sega show Claude, Kai, Raz, Ragnarok, and Riley avatars.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 25, 2018. The PC version will be released on September 24, 2018.
