imageOn December 9, Valkyria Chronicles II is going back to stores in Japan as part of the Sega the Best collection. The budget re-release has blue borders on the box and a bonus UMD.

A trailer for Valkyria Chronicles 3 and a featurette titled Gallia Front Memoirs are on the disc. Sega also included a product code to download a pack of producer selected missions from the PlayStation Store.

 

Sega had a similar promotion for Phantasy Star Portable in Japan. The PlayStation the Best re-release had a video UMD that summarized the Phantasy Star Universe story and  included a trailer of Phantasy Star Portable 2.
