It’s been eight years since Valkyria Chronicles came to the PlayStation 3 and two years since its Windows PC debut. To help bring people up to speed with the events in Europa, Sega has released a Valkyria Chronicles Remastered trailer.

In Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, Gallia is under attack. The East European Imperial Army is invading, as the neutral nation has Ragnite ore it wants and needs. Players follow Welkin Gunther, son of a military hero, and Alicia Melchiott, the captain of Bruhl’s town watch, as they join the Gallian Militia and defend their homeland. The trailer shows the two going to war with their allies against formidable enemies like Commander Selvaria.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will come to North American PlayStation 4s on May 17, 2016.
