Valve To Roll Out New Steam Apps For iOS And Android

Recommended Videos

Valve announced that new Steam apps will be coming out in the following weeks for both iOS and Android. [Thanks, Phoronix!]

One of them is the Steam Link App, which turns smart devices into a Steam Link device when connected to 5Ghz Wifi, or wired Ethernet. The app will also work with the Steam Controller.

The Steam Link App will be followed by a Steam Video App that allows people to watch Steam multimedia content over Wifi or LTE. It can also be used both in offline and streaming modes.
