Vanillaware Rings In The New Year With A Goddess

George Kamitani, president of Vanillaware, celebrates each new year with new artwork. For 2012, he drew an illustration of Mahishasuramardini, a form of a Hindu goddess that defeated an asura that could morph into a buffalo.

Vanillaware probably isn’t making a game with Mahishasuramardini as the main character, though! Right now, they’re working on Dragon’s Crown which is slated for release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2012.
