Chorus Worldwide previously had an “early 2019” release window for Vasara Collection, the upcoming collection featuring hyper Sengoku shooter Vasara and its sequel Vasara 2, but it’ll now release this summer in Japan.
The publisher didn’t share any reasons for its delay, but we got a look at some new screenshots below:
Vasara Collection introduces a new “Timeless Mode”:
Timeless Mode is a game mode where everything is procedurally generated, where players take on waves of enemies in a nonstop battle to get high scores.
With it being played in widescreen, the gameplay area is different from usual, and there are some other new features such as the ability to dash, and up to four-players for co-op.
Playable characters can be selected from both Vasara and Vasara 2 to your liking.
Vasara Collection releases in Japan in Summer 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
