One of the Snezhnaya supporting cast members in 7.0 will make her playable debut in the 7.1 Genshin Impact, as HoYoVerse confirmed Vesna Strivozha will be a part of that update. The drip marketing for her showed up on social media to highlight her art, element, and her backstory as the Tsaritsa’s Druzhna Commander-in-Chief. She’s expected to show up once the second phase of 7.0 banners end in September 2026.
Since Vesna is a Vila, she has an Anemo Stellar Linchpin, rather than a Vision. While not confirmed yet, her initial social media posts refer to her as a swordswoman. She is the Commander of the Druzhna and known as the Snowy Banquet’s Sharp Blade. Her constellation is called Amentum Vernum. She’s also known for being a strong warrior and very well respected, but at the same time can be mercurial and playful.
Here’s the full official art of Vesna in Genshin Impact, which shows off her wings. She is shown holding a wand in that image, but it is unknown if that means she could be a catalyst-user instead of being equipped with a sword.
At the moment, the first phase of Genshin Impact 7.0 banners are live until September 1, 2026. Right now the new Fatui character and potential Signora successor Odette is live, as is a rerun of Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the 7.1 update is expected to appear later in 2026.
