Video Game Orchestra, a group of musicians that combine rock and orchestral music in their arrangements of famous video game tracks, will be playing a live show in Tokyo on March 25, 2017 that covers many popular songs from famous games from Japan.
The live show will be playing their arrangements of tracks from Final Fantasy XV, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Tales of Zestria, Sonic, Castlevania, and many other songs from a variety of Japanese game developers. These songs will be backed up by visuals provided by each of these games’ developers, all working together to create a show that celebrates the diversity and power of music from the Japanese game industry.
“We want to create THE most amazing video game concert that no one has ever experienced anywhere in the world, and the Video Game Orchestra is the only one that can accomplish what we truly envision.” says producer Shota Nakama of Video Game Orchestra.
