Idea Factory International set an English release date for its JRPG Villion:Code. It will show up digitally and physically outside Japan on January 26, 2027. This means they’ll appear about seven months after the June 2026 Japanese launch. With digital copies, there will be standard and Digital Deluxe Edition versions on every platform. Only $39.99 standard physical copies are confirmed at the moment, and it’s unknown if there could be a physical collector’s edition revealed closer to launch.
The standard physical release is fairly typical. Switch, PS4, and PS5 copies will be available, but there won’t be a retail Switch 2 version. (The Switch cartridge can be played on the Switch 2.) Each one, if ordered from IFI’s Online Store, will include a trading card. The art for it hasn’t been revealed yet. Likewise, there’s no bonus for standard digital copies.
With the Villion:Code Digital Deluxe Edition, we’ll get a number of downloads tied to the game. However, this doesn’t involve DLC. Rather, we’ll get a 27 track soundtrack and a digital art book that includes a Short Story Collection.
The Villion:Code release date for English versions is January 26, 2027, and we’ll see it on the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, and PC.
