RGG and Sega’s second Summer Game Fest 2026 game ended up being the new Virtua Fighter Crossroads title. A first trailer showed up that seemed to highlight a story mode. That will come out in 2027. We’ll also learn more of it later today, as a special showcase will air at 5pm PT/8pm ET on June 5, 2026 at the official Sega Twitch and YouTube channels.
The first trailer here primarily focused on a new character named Cielo. We see that he’s trying to make a name for himself as a fighter, and we see him with a number of people who appear to be his family and friends. However, we also learn he’s wanted by the “Chinese mafia” for some reason. At the end of the trailer, a mysterious woman shows up, and it turns out that’s the updated version of Pai-chan.

Prior to this, we saw Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage show up on the Switch 2 in March 2026.
Virtua Fighter Crossroads will show up in 2027, and exact platforms for the new game haven’t been revealed as of time of writing.
