Virtual Fighter 5 on the Xbox 360 picks up online play

While the Playstation 3 version has been out for months, Virtua Fighter 5 fans may want to pick up the Xbox 360 release too. Sega is adding in online play specifically for the Xbox 360. On Xbox Live players will be able to use their customized fighter decorated with necessary accessories like keytars. There are going to be new items in Virtua Fighter 5 for the 360 and new CPU rivals to face. Also Sega is adding in leaderboards to Dojo mode and better throw and escape training to prepare you for online fights.

In the press release Sega also confirmed what has been rumored for some time, Virtua Fighter 5 is not coming out this summer, it’s delayed until Autumn 2007. But patience pays off! Online play and new items are worth a slight delay.
