Viz Media’s Next Game Is The Harvest Moon-Like Garden Story

Viz Media has offered a look at its next game, which is Picogram’s Garden Story. In this pastoral adventure, Concord will help make a village a better place by raisin up plants, helping the other fruit on the island, solving puzzles, and generally making it a grape place to live.

While part of Garden Story involves playing at a relaxed pace, cultivating friendships with the people around you, and learning about your home, Concord also has a sacred duty. Our avatar is also the island’s guardian, tasked with keeping the increasing Rot from crushing everything everyone holds dear. Crafting, fighting, and fishing are all shown in the initial trailer.

Here is a first look at Garden Story, which shows Concord talking with people like Maraschino and going through what looks to be a dungeon.

Garden Story will come to PCs in Spring 2020.
