Vlambeer announced during PlayStation Experience that it has officially launched its post-apocalyptic roguelike shooter Nuclear Throne for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC (Windows, Mac, and Linux). A PlayStation 3 and Xbox One version will be coming soon.

Nuclear Throne has been on Steam Early Access since October 2013 and was gradually developed and tweaked over that time. Although it is now released fully Vlambeer plans to continue to support and update Nuclear Throne.

If you don’t know, Nuclear Throne has you choose a mutant and then attempt to blast your way through a hazardous and radioactive wasteland to reach the titular throne and become the ruler. Along the way you’re able to use the toxic culture to grant your character new mutations that offer new strategic options and upgrades.

Nuclear Throne is the latest game from the creators of Super Crate Box, Luftrausers, and Ridiculous Fishing. You can purchase it on Steam as well as on the PlayStation Store.
