Vocaloid Gumi Headed To Nintendo Rhythm Game

Recommended Videos

We’ve seen the Megpoid software mascot, Gumi, make an appearance in other games like Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2, and it looks like she’s making another Nintendo 3DS appearance, this time in Daigasso! Band Brothers P.

To get you up to speed on what Band Brothers P is about, like the previous games [called Jam with the Band in the west], it’s a rhythm game that lets you download songs and play them through different instruments.

Developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo, Band Bros. P features a wide range of songs powered by Vocaloid technology. The game  has an “artist” function that lets you do the vocals with a Vocaloid, and the latest guest is Gumi from Megpoid.

Gumi is now available to download, but you’ll need 15 Tomatoes (in-game currency) to get her.
