Ever wanted to catch a Final Fantasy concert in the comfort of your home? Square-Enix is going to release a DVD of “Voices music from Final Fantasy” on June 21st. This concert featured the music of famed composer Nobuo Uematsu and was conducted by Arnie Roth who conducted the More Friends concert last year. Voices was a star studded event where many of the vocal themes were played out. Emiko Shiratori performed “Melodies of Life” from Final Fantasy IX, Rikki sung “Suteki Da Ne” from Final Fantasy X and Angela Aki sung “Kiss me Goodbye” the theme from Final Fantasy XII. The DVD release features 18 songs including the opening theme from Final Fantasy XI, the Maria & Draco opera from VI and the Advent Children rendition of One Winged Angel. If you are planning on picking it up the release comes in two flavors a limited edition release for 4,800 yen ($43) and a regular disc for 3,800 ($34) yen. Both are region 2 encoded. See a preview video of Voices here.
