As previously detailed, the game takes place in a world in ruins, featuring a girl named Toriko that somehow stayed alive to be the very last of mankind and a robot that discovers her. Since humans can no longer live in the world that is covered in deadly fungi, he provides an isolated terrarium as a habitable environment for the girl.
