We already knew Volontes, an upcoming Switch otome game, would launch in Japan on March 26, 2026, and now it is confirmed it will debut everywhere on that date. The English version will appear digitally worldwide. However, in Japan there will be a physical copy available that day too. Should someone import via a site like Amazon Japan, that will include an English subtitle option too.

Things are bad as Volontes begins. Fiena watched a plague ravage places near her and violent knights destroy her hometown and family. However, there’s hope in that tragedy. After the assault, she’s brought to the kingdom of Ombrelle and dubbed the Moon Witch. But this change in status doesn’t guarantee safety or love. Yet if you’re careful, you could end up earning one of many different kinds of ends with the possible love interests Emmanuel, Ismail, Melodie, or Olivier.

Here’s the latest trailer that shows off each of the different love interests and some of the supporting cast.

As a reminder, this game is a Kickstarter success story. After passing its ¥6,000,000, pulling in ¥6,784,322 from 801 backers, Loca Games confirmed the Switch localization was assured. However, it didn’t reach the ¥8,000,000 stretch goal that would have resulted in a PC port. (Loca’s previous otome localization was Yukar of the Abyss.)

Volontes will come to the Switch digitally worldwide on March 26, 2026, and the otome game will also be on a physical cartridge in Japan that same day.
