The Volcanion Pokémon Distribution Event Begins In October

The Volcanion Pokémon distribution event for Pokémon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire, and Omega Ruby has been dated. The legendary fire and water type will be distributed in October 2016 in both North America and Europe. People will be able to visit retail stores to acquire a code they can redeem in the Nintendo 3DS games for the character, with GameStop confirmed as the location to collect codes in the United States.

This Volcanion will arrive at level 70 when added into the game. It comes with the Water Absorb ability, which restores health by one quarter of its maximum HP when hit by a water type move. It will also know Explosion, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, and Steam Eruption.

The Volcanion Pokémon distribution event was announced alongside the English title for the next movie, Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. A trailer was released, offering an overview of the plot.

Pokémon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire, and Omega Ruby are all immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.
