Warner Bros Call Mentions Mortal Kombat 12

Mortal Kombat 12 is on the way, and it seems it will be a 2023 release. During the Warner Bros Discovery Fourth Quarter 2022 Earnings Call, part of the announcements mentioned the game would appear in 2023. No further details about the game were mentioned, beyond the fact it exists and will be out this year.

Here’s a clip showing the announcement from the Warner Bros earning call, which was shared by Al¹³ on Twitter.

The update mentioned it alongside another game. It also referenced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. That will be showing up in May 2023.

Mortal Kombat 11 debuted back in 2019 on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. It eventually came to the PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2020. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate was recently revealed to be one of the Evo 2023 main games, which led to people speculating that there could be an announcement tied to the series at the event.

Following the call, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon joked about the situation on Twitter.

Mortal Kombat 12 is in development and will apparently launch in 2023.
