I’m guessing this has been floating around for awhile, but in case you missed it Square-Enix threw up a larger version of the Last Remnant trailer on the Japanese page. When I saw this about a month ago I wasn’t sure what to think. I still don’t know what to think besides imagining a Dynasty Warriors meets Final Fantasy hybrid.
Square-Enix’s strategy for the Last Remnant is what keeps me interested in the project. It will be their first simultaneous dual system release (Playstation 3 / Xbox 360) and their first simultaneous multi region release (Japan / North America). If the Last Remnant is a hit more projects will probably go this direction, but if it bombs… well… I’m all for simultaneous releases across different countries so I hope that doesn’t happen.
