Watch Crash Bandicoot Explore Skylanders Imaginators’ Wumpa Islands

Crash Bandicoot is returning to the world of games as a character in Skylanders Imaginators, but that’s only one of the ways Activision is honoring the series in the game. There’s also a Thumpin’ Wumpa Islands level. To celebrate Crash’s 20th anniversary, an official trailer going through the new location has been released.

Here’s the Skylanders Imaginators Thumpin’ Wumpa Islands footage. As it runs, a counter in the lower right corner keeps track of ways in which the game attempts to honor the Crash Bandicoot series.

Crash Bandicoot will be a Life Brawler Sensei, which means he’s part of the Brawler Battle Class line, can access Sensei Shrines and Battle Gongs in the game, and will help other Skylander characters gain new Secret Techniques. He and the Dr. Neo Cortex Tech Sorcerer Sensei will be included in the PlayStation 4 Crash Edition Starter Pack for Skylanders Imaginators.

Skylanders Imaginators will come to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Nintendo Wii U on October 16, 2016 in North America and October 14, 2016 in Europe.
