The latest Yakuza 0 trailer shows you why you don’t mess with the Dragon of Dojima or Mad Dog of Shimano. In the new video, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima’s battle styles are shown off. Each character has three fighting styles players can choose from and invest in throughout the game, so they can have a fighter with techniques that match their needs.
Kiryu uses the Beast, Brawler, and Rush techniques. Beast is chaotic and allows Kiryu to automatically use things around him as weapons for heavy attacks, Rush offers a series of quick, combo attacks, while Brawler is a balanced mix of attacks. As for Majima, he can use the Breaker, Slugger, and Thug styles. Breaker is described as breakdance fighting, Slugger uses bats and weapons, and Thug is about counters, takedowns, and throws. Though, people who want to take a break from fighting can throw some cash at potential enemies to avoid an attack. Though, Mr. Shakedown might appear, get grabby and take all of your money.
Yakuza 0 will come to the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on January 24, 2017.
