Watch: Monster World Complete Collection trailer

Next month Sega is releasing Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 29: Monster World Complete Collection on the Playstation 2. All of the Wonder Boy in Monster Land games are in the collection along with Super Wonder Boy and the shoot ‘em up Wonder Boy II: Monster Lair.  The Wonder Boy games were platforming games that blended in RPG elements, which put them pretty far ahead of the times. The collection is only going to be released in Japan, but since Sega has been bringing so many games to the Virtual Console maybe a new generation of gamers will get to play these classics on the Wii.
