A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV is a side-scrolling, action brawler in the same vein as classics like Double Dragon or Streets of Rage. The game is also a GameStop exclusive pre-order bonus, and Square Enix has just dropped the first official trailer to show it off.
When young Noctis just can’t deal with yet another bogus bedtime story, King Regis comes to the rescue with his own radical work of fiction. In A King’s Tale, players are put in the righteously regal shoes of a 30 years younger King Regis as he embarks on a fantastical journey. Cid, Clarus, and Weskham join in on the hack and slash fun.
Originally unveiled during a Square Enix Presents presentation at E3 2016, A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV is a fully playable game rockin’ retro graphics and filled with nostalgic flair. The only way fans in North America can get their hands on it, though, is to pre-order any version of Final Fantasy XV for either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One at GameStop or EB Games.
