Ghostlight addressed a Way of the Samurai 4 Steam page hiccup via Twitter. Namely, people who visit the Steam product page might have noticed the ability to buy the game was gone. The publisher noted that “it should be back up soon.” However, it didn’t provide an explanation for why the “add to cart” option disappeared. (DLC for the game can be purchased as usual and without any issues.)

Here’s Ghostlight’s statement.

Way of the Samurai 4 is an action game where players become a samurai in Amihama and then decide how they want their “life” to go. You choose what to do and who to ally with throughout the game over a period of just under an in-game week. Depending on what you do, there are,  multiple endings available. (Also, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.) It originally appeared on the PS3, but Ghostlight brought it to PCs worldwide in 2015.

Way of the Samurai 4 is immediately available on the PlayStation 3 and the PC via Steam. There’s no exact date yet for when people will be able to buy it again via Steam aside from “soon.”
