Kaiju Busters takes Monster Hunter’s gameplay and replaces Capcom’s dinosaur-like monsters with kaiju. Famous kaiju like Gomora from Ultraman are in in Kaiju Busters and you can even dress up like some of your favorite kaiju…
…after brutally killing them. Kaiju Busters rewards players for slaying kaiju with kaiju skins that alter abilities and weaknesses. Up to three players can link up and bust kaiju on the Nintendo DS. Fittingly, Namco Bandai’s game has three classes. Players can choose between balanced blade users, heavy hammerers, and back row gunslinging busters.
Kaiju Busters is slated to come out in Japan this winter.
The game’s three classes. From left to right: blade, hammer, buster.
