Dragon Quest Heroes, a mashup of Square Enix’s RPG series with Dynasty Warriors style gameplay, makes its debut in Japan this week. This will be the first Dragon Quest title for PlayStation since 2006 when Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Fortune Street Portable came out for PSP and a roguelike spinoff starring a young Yangus came out for PS2. Considering how well Hyrule Warriors did, Dragon Quest Heroes should be a huge release in Japan.
A bunch of Japanese games will arrive in the West this week including French Bread fighter Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late, Sting’s strategy RPG Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
