This Week In Imports: Kenka Bancho Kicks In The New Year

After a few quiet weeks, Spike Chunsoft has a new game in the Kenka Bancho series to start Japan’s release calendar. Kenka Bancho 6: Soul & Blood is basically Yakuza meets Persona. You play as a new badass in town starting a freshman year. Part of the game is living a regular high school life where you take tests and hangout with classmates. Like other Kenka Bancho games you beatdown other tough guys and can use stare-down rivals using your laser eye Menchi Beam. Kenka Bancho 6 has a bunch of mini-games including mahjong, beach volleyball, and fishing. Also coming out this week here is Brandish: The Dark Revenant from Xseed and Falcom as well as the PlayStation Vita version of Atelier Ayesha.
