We’ll Hear More About Wii U At E3, But Not Its Release Date

Aside from announcing Wii U games will be sold in stores and as digital downloads, Nintendo is saving Wii U details for E3. During the show, which kicks off on June 5, Nintendo will reveal the Wii U software lineup and the final format of the system.

What we won’t find out is how much a Wii U will cost or when it will come out. Nintendo will announce the launch date and price in each region after E3.

 

Nintendo says Wii U will launch in time for the year-end sales season in North America, Japan, Europe, and Australia.
