Well, At Least Konami Is Doing Something With Hudson’s Library

Ever since Konami took over all of Hudson’s assets, all of their franchises have gone dormant. Bonk: Brink of Extinction was finished, but shelved. Momotaro Densetsu, a yearly series in Japan, was put on ice and we haven’t seen a new Bomberman game in years.

Konami is now starting to utilize Hudson’s back catalog in Japan by re-releasing TurboGrafx-16 games for Wii U Virtual Console like New Adventure Island, which comes out on January 29.

 

The MSX version of Antarctic Adventure is scheduled to come out then too along with Wario’s Woods and Bubble Bobble care of Square Enix since they acquired Taito.
