What Do You Do With A Game Of The Year Edition Without A GOTY Award?

Deep Silver bundled Dead Island with the Bloodbath Arena, The Ripper, and Ryder White downloadable content earlier this year. The re-release was called Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition because Gamecritics.com awarded the zombie action game with a coveted GOTY award.

 

Spike Chunsoft brought Dead Island to Japan, but the game didn’t get receive any Game of the Year awards in their territory. So, they renamed the re-release Dead Island: Zombie of the Year Edition. Zombie of the Year Edition comes out on November 1 in Japan.
