V Rising became instantly popularity upon its early access release in 2022. Now, it is finally time for the vampire survival game to rise up out of early access and strike from the shadows with its full 1.0 release. When can I start playingV Rising?
The release date for this massive survival game is coming up quite soon, depending on when you are reading this. The V Rising release date is currently set for May 8, 2024. This is a worldwide release, so people in most regions where the game is already available in early access should all see it on the same exact day.
As for the exact time V Rising will come out, this is actually uncertain at this time. There are two potential options, starting with the default Steam update time. This is usually around 1pm ET/10am PT in North America. It could happen then on May 8, 2024, but there is also the potential it could happen around midnight for a particular region, such as Sweden. This is where the developer Stunlock Studios is based. For now, we will have to wait and see.
Which platforms can I play V Rising on?
When the V Rising release date arrives, the vampire survival game will be available on PCs only. That said, the game is coming out for PS5 as well, but it seemingly won’t be available there for the 1.0 launch. It is scheduled to come later in 2024, with no current release date set for it.
Fortunately, players who prefer to play with a controller will be able to check out the game on PC with controller support on launch day. That is one of the many new features available in the 1.0 release, alongside the larger map, Dracula boss fight, and more.
V Rising will launch for PC on May 8, 2024. A PS5 version will launch later this year in 2024.
