How Trading Posts Work in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Making money fast in this game comes down to one specific part of the title: the trading post. Trading posts are available in many of the large towns and settlements throughout the world this nostalgic JRPG. They are essential to making a lot of cash, but they are tricky. How it works is each trading post in every town has a different rate for various items.

For instance, the pearls might be under market value in a place like Hishahn but over the market value in a town like Werne Village. As such, you would want to buy items in a town where the price is low and then travel to another place to sell them where the price is high to make quick and easy profits. This is made a lot easier once you reach Euchrisse in the main story, where you can unlock fast travel.

Best Items to Sell to Make Money Fast in Eiyuden Chronicle

At the end of the day, it comes down to how an item fluctuates with making money fast in Eiyuden Chronicle. The goal is to look for the double arrows, be it red or blue, to make cash. These are the wildest discounts or up sales, so it means the most profit; everything else is almost never worth your time (and Baqua).

Here are just some of the items we have noticed on our travels as well as where to buy them and where to sell them. Keep in mind this can fluctuate as you buy and sell, but here are some early options:

  • Buy paintings in Twinhorne East and sell them in the Treefolk Village.
  • Pearls in Hishahn and then sell them at the Treefolk Village.
  • Buy diamonds at the Grum County trading post and sell at the Treefolk Village.

Lastly, I highly suggest getting the trading post at your castle when you get the chance. It is the only trading post that has every item available to buy and sell there, making it a gold mine for trading and making money.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
