It’s official, NIS America reached an agreement with Imageepoch to release their games overseas. "Imageepoch is already a distinguished videogame developer in Japan. Not only that, but it is my firm belief that their future titles will fascinate JRPG fans in the US and Europe in the near future," said Haru Akenaga, President of NIS America, about the partnership. That was back in November and so far no Imageepoch titles have been announced for North America.

Speaking with Mr. Akeanga, I asked if he could update us on their plans with the Black Rock Shooter: The Game developer. "They are only making PSP titles [right now] and it is tough to sell PSP titles in the U.S. market. Their titles are really good so we want to push titles and sell more of them, but in that case we have to wait until they develop games for other formats," clarified Akeanga.

"Is there no hope for Black Rock Shooter," I asked remembering the strong following the PSP game has on Siliconera. "A lot of people, my readers included, want it."

"I know, I love it! I want to do it," Akenga replied.
