From PsOne to Nintendo DS, Capcom has made a bunch of versions of Resident Evil. The Gamecube remake is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC soon. Resident Evil HD Remaster lets players switch between wide screen (16:9) and full screen (4:3) on the fly.

 

This version of Resident Evil also has analog control, Japanese voiceovers, Wesker’s Report I & II, and BSAA costumes for Jill & Chris.

 

Resident Evil HD Remaster comes out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 27 in Japan. Both versions will run in 720p. The PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions which runs in 1080p are due in early 2015. Capcom plans on distributing all five versions in the West together in early 2015. The PS3 version will get a retail release in Japan and the Asian version has an English language option.
