Where do I get Ship Parts in Starfield?

You can purchase Ship Parts at any UC Distribution Center in Starfield. The quickest place to farm the resource is New Atlantis in the Alpha Centauri Star System. Simply fast travel to Jemison’s Commercial District and find the UC Distribution Center located across from the Enhance! store.

Ship Parts can be purchased for 1,187 Credits each. While the vendor only carries a limited amount of the repair kits, you can actually force the store’s inventory to refresh by waiting for 24 hours. To do this, fast-travel back to your ship at the New Atlantis Spaceport and sleep in your bed. You will now be able to farm the important resource.

How do I repair my ship in Starfield?

To repair your ship in Starfield, you must visit a Ship Service vendor or consume Ship Parts in your inventory. The first and cheapest method to repair your ship is to fly to any planet Spaceport and speak to the local technician. In New Atlantis, for example, you can repair your Ship for 1,000 credits after speaking to the Ship Service NPC that is standing next to the Trade Authority Kiosk.

The second method to repair your ship requires having Ship Parts in your inventory. When your Hull is damaged while flying in space, Press down on the RS (right joystick) button on Xbox to consume your Ship Parts to repair the damage. You can also find Ship Parts for free after destroying enemy ships in Space Battle. All you need to do is fly up to their debris and click the “A” button to see if they have the resource.

In most instances, the best way to repair your Starfield Ship is to fast travel to a major planet’s Spaceport. If you find yourself in the middle of a heated space battle, though, you will need Ship Parts in your inventory to manually repair your craft. So, it’s always good to stock up on the repair kits, as you never know when you will need them.

Starfield is available now on the Xbox Series X and on PC.
