Where Is Davi in Date Everything

In Date Everything, romancing or befriending Mateo Manda involves also completing a sidequest involving an inanimal “dog” named Davi that’s disappeared. This doesn’t mean just going to Mateo a bunch of times to talk to him. You actually need to search certain spots in the house at specific points of this multi-day dialogue to eventually bring Davi home. 

How do I find Davi for Mateo in Date Everything?

This all starts once Mateo brings up Davi after you’ve spoken to him a few times via interacting with, say, the blanket in the living room. You need to offer to assist in the rescue process. Insist on it, even. He’ll ask you to check in with Phoenicia, so she can put up a missing notice. After you finish talking, bring up your phone and use the Dateviators to talk to her. She’ll immediately begin a scripted conversation about this.

The next day, go and talk to Mateo. You’ll learn about some leads. One of them will involve Hoove, the vacuum in the laundry room closet. Go talk to him if you want. But also, wait until the next day. On the windowsill in the laundry room, between the hamper and washer/dryer, you’ll see a bit of string. Use the Dateviator glasses to pick up the snake inanimal. 

The next day, go talk to Mateo again. Talking to inanimals counts as talking to him, so you need to wait a day. He’ll take the snake in. You’ll also learn about another lead. Apparently, Telly, the TV in the living room, might know something. Head to the TV. Again, you can talk to that character. Or, if you wait another day, you can use the Dateviators on the spring on the lower shelf of the entertainment center, next to the game console. This is a mouse inanimal.

Wait until the next day. Go talk to Mateo again. He’ll adopt the mouse. There’ll be one final clue about a sighting. Stepford, the trophies in the home gym on the second floor next to your bedroom, said there was an inanimal in the closet up there. Wait until the next day. Head into the closet and look at the boxes on the floor under the shelves. There will be visible tassels there. Now, I don’t know if this was a Switch version quirk, but I couldn’t get the Dateviators to work on the tassels right away. I had to talk to Beau, the boxes on top of it, and engage in a standard conversation with her unrelated to this plotline before the game would let me interact with the dog. Use the glasses, and you’ll have found Davi in Date Everything.

The next day, go talk to Mateo. You’ll see him and Davi reunite in Date Everything. You’ll also finally be able to advance your relationship with the character.
