While you can immediately go to the inn and take care of business in the Nibelheim introduction in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in either the main game or demo, you should probably visit Tifa’s house too. It’s a way to get some relationship points and see some insight into Cloud’s experience based on actions he takes while exploring her home.
Where is Tifa’s house in Nibelheim in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?
Well, good news! There are only a handful of buildings you can actually enter during this flashback, so you don’t have to look too far for Tifa’s home. In the center of town is the famous water tower. The inn is where you’ll need to head during the Home Sweet Home scenario. Directly across the way from it is where Tifa lives.
I’ve highlighted its location on the map in the screenshot below.
Once you go to the front door, you can opt to go inside. Tifa will ask, “You went to my place?” Saying “Yeah” will send Cloud inside to explore. Choosing “…No?” is the other option.
What can you do inside Tifa’s house?
There are a handful of interactions with various items in the place that trigger dialogue from Cloud, Tifa, Barret, and Aerith during the retelling. First, head to the kitchen on the first floor of the house. In front of the sink are two bowls on the ground. Interact with that with the triangle button to kick off some exposition.
From there, head upstairs. The first door takes you to Tifa’s dad’s bedroom. There’s a chest inside with an ether.
The other room on the second floor is Tifa’s. Go inside. You’ll see a wardrobe when you’re in there. You can interact with it with triangle, but doing so upsets both Tifa and Aerith. Her piano is also next to her bed. Go ahead and say you “went to town on it” and played it.
And that’s it! That covers everything you can do in Tifa’s house in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on the PS5 on February 29, 2024, with the exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024.
