Makeup doesn’t, unfortunately, contribute to the overall stats of your Nikki. However, what makeup does do is allow you to complete a look. As such, it is worth knowing how to get makeup in Infinity Nikki, including for free.

How to Get Makeup from Banner Pulls

The core way you are able to get makeup in this free-to-play title is through banner pulls. At all times, there are at least two banners that you are able to draw clothing items from. There is the permanent banner (Distant Sea) that is always available. Then there is the ever-rotating event banner, which can contain special 4 or 5-star outfits.

The key here isn’t what you pull from the banners themselves, but the Deep Echoes rewards/achievements. Every 10 or 20 pulls you do on a specific banner, you earn Deep Echoes, which are like little achievement rewards. For most banners, the first several Deep Echoes rewards include makeup, contact lenses, and other additional features. Better yet, they are usually themed around the main outfit of that banner as well. It usually only takes 20 or so pulls to get some makeup this way, so like 2,400 Diamonds or 24 crystals, to get makeup.

How to Get Makeup for Free in Infinity Nikki

It is, technically, possible to get some makeup for free in Infinity Nikki, but it is extremely rare. We are talking you might get one or two pieces of makeup for free throughout the entire main story. This can happen from completing main story quests, unlocking some of the various ability outfits, and doing other side content quests.

In general, your best bet when it comes to getting makeup for free is Diamonds. As mentioned above, you need Diamonds for makeup from banner pulls. You can get Diamonds pretty easily, as just about everything gives you this currency from completing quests to minigames to fashion stylist battles and more. This is the best way to get makeup for free.
