Where to Find Baelen and the Noblestock Mushroom in Baldur’s Gate 3

To begin the “Find the Mushroom Picker” quest in Baldur’s Gate 3, head to the Myconid Village in the Underdark and speak with Derryth Bonecloak. From there, you need to travel to the coordinates of around X: -5, Y: -62 in the Dread Hollow region of the Underdark.

When you reach here, you’ll see a bunch of green toxic shrooms. Baelen is stuck in the middle of them. If you get too close to them, they explode and send off poisonous gas. Unfortunately, you need to rescue Baelen and find the Noblestock Mushroom.

To do this, I suggest having a party member who can fly or use the Misty Step spell. Someone like Lae’zel is excellent, since she can easily learn the Misty Step spell. Have the designated character separate from the rest of the team and fly or spellcast their way to the bag in the middle of the ground.

Interact with the bag and throw a Scroll of Misty Step from inside the bag to him so he can escape. At this point, you can get the Noblestock Mushroom yourself on the wall near you. It is hard to see, so you may need to highlight targets or turn up your brightness.

You can then use this mushroom on Shadowheart to help her out or another possible character in the game, like Baelen.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PC and PlayStation 5.
