Where to Unlock New Tank Role Quest in FFXIV Dawntrail

Role Quests return in FFXIV Dawntrail! Tanks will have their own unique set of Role Quests they can under take. However, there are a few prerequisites you will need to fulfill before you can begin this new series of story-focused content.

In order to unlock the Tank Role Quests you will need to do the following:

• Have one Tank Job Class at Level 92
• Complete the Main Scenario Quest “The Feat of Pots”
• Complete the Side Quest “Uncouth Customers” in Tuliyollal at X:12.4 Y:14.5
• Accept the Quest “The Narwhal Beckons” in Tuliyollal at X:12.9 Y:15.0

You will be able to find the Tanks Role Quest NPC at X:12.9 Y:15.0 in Tuliyollal. Speak to Loazenikwe to accept the Tank Role Quest “The Narwhal Beckons.” Keep in mind that this is side content, and not required for Main Scenario Quests. So if you’re looking for something to pass the time, these are a great way to learn more about your Job Class.

You will need to complete the Side Quest “Uncouth Customers” in order to accept any Role Quests in Dawntrail. Additionally, you will need to clear the Main Scenario Quest “The Feat of Pots” in order to begin accepting Role Quests.

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Dawntrail expansion is available in Early Access, with the full release to appear on July 2, 2023.
