Which Echo Goes With LOZ Echoes of Wisdom What Is Snow Really

After certain milestones in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, new sidequests can open up, and the Suthorn Village “What is Snow Really” one asking for a specific monster echo is one of them. However, because it its tied to a Hebra Mountains common enemy, you might not immediately know which creature the kid is asking to see.

Which monster echo should I summon to finish “What is Snow Really” in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom?

Since Suthorn Village is so small, I don’t need to give directions or a map. You’ll see the young child with the telltale red exclamation point icon the moment you enter the town. However, the kid will only be there after you fix the rift in Hyrule Castle. Talk to the boy, who is standing next to the trampoline you copied earlier in the game for the echo. The child will ask about seeing snow and even mention Hebra Mountains.

Now, you can really only safely get this echo if you unlocked the smoothie shops and learned how to make Warm Mixed Special, Warm Smoothie, or Warming Potion. Make two or three of those, grab your Crawltula echo, and climb up the Hebra Mountains in the northern most region of the map. If you start taking cold damage, you’re there. You are looking for the  Snomaul enemy. It will shoot snowballs at you. A pair of Ignizol echoes is honestly a good ally to take one down, if you don’t want to switch to Swordfighter Form.

Once you get the Snomaul, head back to the child in Suthorn Village. Summon the Snomaul echo. This monster echo will please the child and complete the “What Is Snow Really” quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. You’ll get eight Floral Nectar for your troubles.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
