Which Fae Farm Characters Can You Romance?

Like other farming and life sims, there are characters you can romance in Fae Farm. There are six different NPCs who live in town. However, you’re incredibly limited when the game begins. It’s only once you start to get established in the game that four of the six folks you can possibly marry even show up.

Who are the characters you can romance in Fae Farm

There are a total of six romance options in Fae Farm. However, not all of them are immediately on Azoria when you get there. Only Argyle and Jack are there right away. You can usually find them around the inn or can track them using the map.

It’s only once you finish chapter three and get Neppy to dispel the whirlpools that the other four love interests move to the island. The morning you complete the “A Watery Wonder” quest, Galan, Nhamashal, Pepper, and Pyria will arrive.

Of those six people, three are human and three are fae. Argyle, Jack, and Pepper are the human characters you can romance. Galan, Nhamashal, and Pyra are the three fairies.

How to romance Fae Farm love interests

So, romancing love interests in Fae Farm is weird, because characters can’t just accept gifts at any time. They’ll only want specific items, and this can change from day-to-day. So actually giving gifts is a bit difficult. Checking the main menu can help you see what they would like that day. However, I’d recommend just talking to people regularly instead. Doing so also boosts your relationship with them.

You will eventually get “Romance Quests” and “Go on a Date” options with these characters once they are in the “flirting” phase. The Romance Quests are honestly not all that different from other NPC side quests you might get. For example, both standard townsperson and shop owner Eddy and love interest Argyle both tasked me with a quest that involved getting 10 Huckleberries. Just for Argyle, it was billed as a “romance” quest, and for Eddy it was a “friend” one.

As for the opportunity to go on a date, the character will send you a letter to your mailbox at your house. It will ask you to spend some time with them. When you next talk to that character, the Go on a Date option will appear in the menu of options. If you select it, you watch a scene with a character and yours. There are no dialogue options, so you automatically increase your relationship by watching it.

Fae Farm is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC.
