Who Is Maya in Persona 3 Reload

In Persona 3 Reload, the Hermit social link involves an Innocent Sin Online MMO player called Maya. While the game doesn’t flat out tell you who it is unless you max out the link and head to the faculty room on a certain day, there are a lot of hints as to who she is before that.

How do I find out who Maya is in Persona 3 Reload

Okay. So first of all, you need to start the Hermit social link. This is incredibly easy to do. Junpei gives you a copy of the MMO Innocent Sin Online on April 28th automatically during a scripted evening segment.

Once you have that copy of the game, you can spend any day you don’t have school in your room “playing” the game on your computer. Just approach your PC on your desk, and you’ll get the option to play Innocent Sin Online with a player who decides to call Maya, after the Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment heroine. (The player character will go by the name Tatsuya, after the male protagonist from that game.) 

Basically, Sundays are the free day to play. However, if there is a school holiday you can also spend that time during the day playing. This is the first hint that the person behind Maya is a teacher at Gekkoukan High School. The second hint is that Maya will often rant about her fellow teachers and job as a teacher. So for much of the social link, it’s hinting at it being a woman who works as a teacher at her school.

However, the final confirmation comes on March 4th in-game if you got the Hermit social link up to rank 10. In addition to getting the ability to fuse Arahbaki, you also get a screenshot from Maya as a “key item.” On that day in March, head to the faculty room on the first floor of the school. Your character will note that he can hear Ms. Toriumi inside. Choose to enter. You’ll see her involved with a conversation with Mrs. Terauchi. 

As a result of this event, that “screenshot” on your phone will be seen due to it being used as the player character’s phone wallpaper. It will then be revealed that “Maya” is Ms. Toriumi, your homeroom teacher, in Persona 3 Reload.
