New Nintendo firmware is up and it tackles the lack of storage space on the Wii with a simple solution. You can now play games saved WiiWare and Virtual Console games from an SD card. At the bottom left hand corner there is an SD card icon. Click on this to access an SD card and the downloadable software saved on it.

 

Is this a fair alternative to a Wii hard drive?
