A new platform has been revealed for Windjammers. DotEmu has announced the game will be appearing on the Nintendo Switch. A specific release date has not been announced, but it will be on the system before 2018 ends.

Windjammers is the multiplayer frisbee game from Data East that has players attempting to throw a flying disc past their opponent and into their foe’s goal. There are six playable characters in the game, each with their own stats and signature move, and six different courts, each with their own different goal area sizes and gimmicks. There are also two minigames, one where you throw a frisbee to a dog and another where you bowl, only with a flying disc hitting the pins instead of a ball. The Nintendo Switch version will have local and online multiplayer.

Windjammers is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
