Wing Island flies to Europe on March 23

Hudson’s other Wii launch title, Wing Island, snags a March 23 European release date. Wing Island is the Wii’s first flying game where you can use tilt control to fly your plane. Turn the remote right or left to turn or point the remote up or down to change your height. Wing Island came out in Japan with less than stellar reception. It was shunned as a launch game and only 800 copies were sold in the first week. Wing Island doesn’t appear on the Wii’s release schedule, but it does have an ESRB rating.
