About two years after its 2017 console and PC debuts, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will be going mobile. On May 30, 2019, Lizardcube and DotEmu’s take on Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap will appear on Android and Apple iOS devices. The mobile version will be $8.99. However, the Google Play product listing is already online for people who want to pre-register, and doing so will net people a 30% discount.

In Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, players attempt to help a hero overcome a curse inflicted by the Meka-Dragon. Every time a dragon is defeated, a new form becomes available to Hu-Man (or Hu-Girl), like Hawk-Man, Lizard-Man, or Mouse-Man. Modern and 8-bit graphics and sound are available, and there are three difficulty levels.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will come to Android and Apple iOS devices on May 30, 2019.
