World Flipper Collab with Re:Zero Running This Month Only

Cygames and Citail announced a new World Flipper collab with Re:Zero for January 2021. The special event will feature crossover characters, an exclusive storyline, and exclusive rewards for players. The collaboration will start on January 16 and run through January 30, 2021 (Thanks, Dengeki!). The limited-time World Flipper collab will feature Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World. Cygames and Citail revealed details and character images ahead of the event’s launch. The exclusive story is called “Isekai no Ryuuritan” (rough translation: “Folktale from Another World”). Those who participate in the event will receive an exclusive four-star Subaru Natsuki. Here is the list of characters in the event and their illustrations.

World Flipper is a pinball action-RPG with a pixel art aesthetic. The game released on Android and iOS devices in Japan back in November 2019. The game will be localized for the west by Kakao Games. However, the last we heard was a general 2021 release window. The latest World Flipper collab combines two niche properties together, so we can only hope the event will reappear in the future after the English-language version of the game releases.
