During The Game Awards 2017, we saw the reveal of a new World War Z game by Saber Interactive for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s a new trailer and screenshots showing its world and hordes of zombies.
So far we know that the game will be a four-player co-op third-person shooter, but other than it looking a lot like the 2013 movie, we don’t have any further details on the game.
Here’s a quote from Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch:
“World War Z is a name synonymous with heart-pounding fear and action, and we’re excited to finally capture that energy in a fast-paced and gruesome experience crafted specifically for modern consoles and PC.”
And one from Paramount Pictures’ vice president of worldwide licensing, Bil Bertini:
“Saber has tons of experience working on high-quality games and they’ve done a great job capturing the massive, frantic hordes of ‘zekes’ that sets our franchise apart. They have created a fiercely original experience in the rich universe of World War Z that fans are sure to love.”
World War Z releases in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
